Mullen makes move from its manor - Boston Business Journal:

The advertising agency which countsStanley Works, U.S. Department of Defense and National Grid amongg itsclients — has for most of its four-decad history operated out of a sprawling manor ownexd by agency founder Jim Mullen in Wenham. But earlier this monthb the agency traded its country estate for the top four floords ofthe 11-floor Boston Insurance Exchangw Building at 40 Broad St. in Boston. “It’zs not a skyscraper, so we have an intimacyt with ground level and the otherdbuildings — a character and texture suited to our sensibilitiesa of brand,” said Joe Grimaldi, Mullen’s CEO.
“Our lease was goinyg to run out onJune 31, and that gave us a reasob to consider where we might want to be and what we wantedd to do on a broader Boston seemed like the right thing to do at this poing in time.” Mullen kept all 300 employees abreast of all aspects of the move right from its official announcemen t in August 2007.
